JOB PURPOSE:
The Sherpa-Addiction Recovery Patient Care Consultant is the first point of contact for prospective patients considering their treatment options. The Sherpa provides information and support to help the patient determine if the provider, service or procedure is the right one for them.
The Sherpa is responsible to manage inbound calls, chats, texts, emails and web inquiries from interested patients generated through marketing campaigns. Using Care Sherpa’s proprietary training, tools and technology, their primary goal is to support patients at every stage of their care journey and assist the patient in their selection of a provider.

QUALIFICATIONS:
LOVE helping and building relationships with people from all walks of life.
Required prior experience as a patient or caregiver in the Addiction Recovery or Behavioral Health field.
Preferred prior experience in customer service, hospitality, healthcare patient service, or social work.
Superior communication skills with professional demeanor, clear voice articulation, active listening, and ability to communicate with individuals from a wide variety of socioeconomic and educational backgrounds.
Excellent computer skills including strong typing ability, and multi-tasking such as talk and type simultaneously.
Preferred CRM experience or other database data entry experience.

INTERNET
Uninterrupted high-speed internet with consistent connection.
ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
100% work from home remote position.
Private quiet environment to take and make patient phone calls.
SCHEDULE & HOURS
Full-Time position - 32+ hours per week
Primarily Monday through Friday during the client’s business day, Saturday & Sunday may be available on some client partners.
